Fleet service, pickup & delivery.

About us · Scotia, NY

Two bays in 1955. Twenty-seven today.

Fogg’s is the area’s largest independent service center: 27 bays and 28,000 square feet on Route 50 in Scotia, NY, minutes from Schenectady. Fleets like the United States Postal Service trust us; your one car gets the same standard.

Charles Fogg Jr. opened a two-bay service station in Scotia in 1955. The method hasn’t changed: measure the problem, show the customer, fix it right, write it down. Today it fills 27 bays on Route 50 in Glenville.

We share the Route 50 campus with Fogg’s Automotive, the used-car dealership. Fleet accounts include the U.S. Postal Service and Oshkosh, with pickup and delivery for fleets of ten or more. Retail drivers get the same bays and published prices.

How we operate

Four habits that don’t bend.

01

Measurements over opinions

Pad thickness in millimeters. Rotor specs against the stamp. Alignment angles off the Hunter rack, not a guess. If we recommend it, we can show you why. Fleet managers get the same photo report their drivers would.

02

Prices published

Our typical ranges are published on every service page for all of Schenectady County to see, and the NYS inspection is listed at the state fee. Publishing prices only works if the prices are fair. They are.

03

The no-lecture guarantee

Decline any recommendation and the response is “no problem, we’ll note it on the vehicle’s record for next time.” Our job is honest information; the decisions are yours — whether you run one car or forty.

04

Fixed right, backed in writing

24-month / 24,000-mile parts & labor warranty on qualifying repairs. When something’s wrong under warranty, the answer is “bring it in” — not a debate.

The Fogg’s Automotive family

Same campus. Same family. Same standard.

Fogg’s Automotive has sold vehicles on Route 50 for decades. Each gets a 151-point reconditioning in these bays before reaching the lot: the same standard for every car, van and truck in the Capital Region, wherever you bought it.
