Saratoga County
Why Ballston Spa drives for it
Fogg’s runs fleet preventive-maintenance programs for Ballston Spa and Saratoga County fleets — 15 minutes down Route 50 to 27 bays in Scotia. Per-vehicle intervals, staged drop-offs, batched NYS inspections, purchase-order and consolidated monthly billing with cost-per-unit. Two vehicles opens an account; pricing is quoted per account.
Ballston Spa is the county seat, and the vehicles that keep Saratoga County running are headquartered around it: county department pickups and vans, non-profit and human-services shuttles, the contractors and builders who buy at Curtis Lumber on Route 67 and work from Milton to Malta.
Those fleets share a problem — budgets set once a year, vehicles that have to last, and nobody with time to shepherd each one to a shop.
A program fixes that: we set the interval per vehicle, you drop them in staged pairs on the way down Route 50, and we handle the rest.
Every visit records what a fleet coordinator or a grant auditor needs — fluids, pad thickness, tire depth, battery test, codes, inspection expiry — to that unit’s history, and bills to a purchase order or one consolidated monthly invoice with cost-per-unit.
NYS inspections ($21 per light vehicle) are batched into the same visits. Priority repair means a down unit jumps the queue.
The program runs the same way for the United States Postal Service’s vehicles and for a two-van Ballston Spa non-profit; pricing is quoted per account once we have seen the vehicles.

01Our Ballston Spa non-profit has four vans on a grant budget — can Fogg’s give us predictable costs?
That is what the program is for. Preventive intervals mean fewer surprise repairs, every visit shows cost-per-unit on one monthly invoice, and we flag what is due next so you can budget it. We bill to a purchase order where your funder requires it. Pricing is quoted per account, and four vans is well past the two-vehicle minimum.
02How many vehicles do we need to open a fleet account?
Two. If keeping vehicles on the road affects your revenue, you qualify — a contractor with two vans is a fleet account here, with the same per-unit records, batching, and monthly invoice as an account with 200 units.
03What does a fleet PM visit include and what does it cost?
An A visit is oil and filter to spec plus a measured inspection — brake thickness, tread depth, battery test, fluids, lights, belts, hoses — with photos logged to the unit. For most gas vans and pickups the oil service is $49–$69, with volume pricing set per account; the $21 NYS inspection is folded into the annual visit.
04How do you keep track of each vehicle’s service intervals?
Every unit gets a digital record keyed to its VIN and your unit number. We schedule by mileage from your telematics odometer reports or driver mileage, send due notices by unit, and track NYS inspection expirations on a calendar we share with you. The history exports per vehicle for resale, warranty, or an audit.
05Can you bill our fleet management company instead of us?
Yes — and electronically. Fogg’s is on AutoIntegrate, the authorization platform the large fleet-management companies use, so for vehicles managed by Enterprise Fleet Management, Element and other FMCs we submit the estimate through AutoIntegrate, the FMC approves it, and the FMC pays us directly; several of our accounts already run this way. For other managed or national-account vehicles we submit estimates and invoices through the FMC’s purchase-order process and bill them directly, with VIN, unit number, and odometer on every line. Vehicles you own outright go on one consolidated monthly invoice with net-30 terms for approved accounts.
