The duty cycle

How Oshkosh puts miles on a vehicle.

A manufacturer’s field fleet has to be dependable in every season: vehicles that support people and work across the region, often driven by many different employees. Downtime is lost time on the job.

Corporate fleets also run on process. Work needs approval limits, clean records by unit, and invoices that fit the company’s billing and fleet-management systems.

What the program does

Built around that duty cycle, not a calendar.

Preventive maintenance follows each vehicle’s own interval, with brakes, tires, fluids and batteries measured and photographed at every visit, so problems are caught before they become road calls.

Breakdowns and safety repairs go to the front of the line, diagnosed the same day and quoted with photos. New York State inspections are tracked by unit and batched by expiration month.

Billing fits a corporate account: one consolidated monthly invoice broken out per vehicle, or direct billing through the fleet-management company via AutoIntegrate. Every unit carries a full service history.

Pickup and delivery is included for accounts with ten or more vehicles: we collect units and return them finished, within about 20 miles of the shop.
