Saratoga County
Why Saratoga Springs drives for it
Priority breakdown repair for Saratoga Springs fleets at Fogg’s, 25 minutes down Route 50 to 27 bays in Scotia. Hotel shuttles, catering and linen vans, downtown delivery — fleet units jump the queue, diagnosis is on live data, and the repair bills to the account with the unit’s history attached.
Saratoga Springs makes most of its money in ten weeks, and its fleets know it: a hotel shuttle, a catering van, or a linen truck down on a Travers-week Friday is lost revenue that does not come back in November.
Our breakdown lane is 25 minutes down Route 50, and fleet units go to the front of it — with 27 bays, that does not mean bumping anyone.
A technician pulls codes and freeze-frame when the vehicle lands, and your manager gets a same-day or parts-wait answer with a written estimate inside the first hour.
Common summer failures — alternators cooked by shuttle air-conditioning, batteries, brakes, cooling systems, the starter that quits on a Broadway hotel loop — are usually back the same day.
A transmission or a diesel driveline gets an honest timeline up front so you can rent cover.
Everything bills to the account, purchase order or consolidated monthly, and logs to the unit, so the off-season preventive schedule we build with you in November is based on what actually broke in August. Two vehicles opens an account; pricing is quoted per account.

Questions, answered.
The Saratoga Springs question first, then the ones every driver asks.
See all FAQs01During track season, how fast can Fogg’s turn around a Saratoga Springs shuttle that breaks down?
If it is in our lot by mid-morning, most common failures — alternator, battery, starter, brakes, hoses — are back on Route 50 that afternoon; fleet units are dispatched first. We are open Mon–Fri 7:30 AM–6 PM, so a Friday breakdown should reach us Friday morning, not Saturday. We tell you in the first hour if it is a parts wait.
02How fast can you get a broken-down van back on the road?
Diagnosed the day it arrives, and for most mechanical failures — brakes, charging, cooling, exhaust, suspension, driveability — repaired the same day. Call the fleet desk at (518) 348-7764 while the tow is on its way and a bay is assigned before the vehicle reaches Scotia.
03Do we have to approve every repair by phone?
Only the ones you want to. Most accounts set a pre-approved spending limit per unit — say $500 — and anything under it starts immediately with the finding, photos, and invoice logged to the vehicle. Above the limit, the manager gets a written quote and approves by phone or email. You decide who on your team can authorize what.
04What is the diagnostic fee for a fleet breakdown?
$89–$149 for gas vehicles and $95–$200 for diesel, credited to the repair when we do the work. It covers a technician’s systematic testing — scan data, live sensors, electrical and physical tests — not just a code read, which is why the repair that follows fixes the cause once instead of replacing parts by guess.
05Can a driver drop a vehicle after hours?
Yes — early drop-off is standard and an after-hours key drop lets a driver leave a unit the night it fails, with the fleet desk picking it up first thing at 7:30 AM. We don’t offer pickup or shuttle service, so plan on your tow provider for a vehicle that can’t be driven.
